Transition Litigation Print E-mail

The attorneys at Cohn Lifland Pearlman Herrmann & Knopf LLP have represented many condominium associations in claims against developers, subcontractors, material manufacturers and professionals, including engineers and architects. We have represented condominium associations throughout New Jersey dealing with a wide variety of construction deficiencies, as well as claims against developers for failure to meet their financial obligations.

Our experience in transition litigation or other similar litigation arising out of construction deficiencies is supported by our general litigation experience, which is a hallmark of our practice since 1924. We have experienced counsel that have dealt with a wide variety of issues including EIFS related problems, structural defects, water infiltration and complex accounting issues. Related areas of our practice such as consumer protection, corporate law and real estate provide a firm grounding of the issues involved.

We have recovered large sums of money for condominium associations in Bergen, Hudson, Morris, Passaic and other counties as a result of law suits against architects, developers and contractors for negligent construction and financial irregularities. Recently, we successfully represented unit owners in Somerset County for personal injury sustained by the families as a result of exposure to toxic mold.  The claims were against an architect, a developer, a general contractor and companies that hired the laborers.
