Mary Ann Stokes has a wealth of experience in the full range of family law matters.  She is highly regarded as a Mediator in the Family Courts throughout New Jersey.  She is also trained in collaborative law.  In addition, Ms. Stokes serves as a parenting coordinator in many high conflict cases. 

Ms. Stokes is admitted to the Bar in New Jersey and before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Ms. Stokes is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Bergen Bar Association, the Bergen County Women Lawyers Association, the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators and is on the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.  She has served as a Panelist in the Bergen County Matrimonial Early Settlement Panel Program and as an arbitrator in family matters.  She currently sits as an arbitrator in fee disputes between attorneys and clients.

Ms. Stokes received her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law.  She attended Brooklyn College of the City University of New York which awarded her B.A., cum laude.  She was elected to Phi Beta Kappa while a student at Brooklyn College.
