Manuel Irizarry is an associate in Cohn Lifland Pearlman Herrmann & Knopf LLP’s real estate and family law groups. In addition, he devotes a portion of his practice to the handling of municipal and corporate matters.
In 2004, Mr. Irizarry was appointed by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Totowa as the Municipal Public Defender. He was reappointed in 2005 and continues to devote his services to the representation of individuals who otherwise would not be able to afford counsel before the Totowa Municipal Court.
He is admitted to the New Jersey Bar and to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Mr. Irizarry is a member of the American Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association. He is also involved in the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey Hispanic Business Council.
After graduating from Rutgers University School of Law, Newark, Mr. Irizarry served as law clerk for the Honorable Richard F. Plechner of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County. He received his B.A. at Ramapo College.
