Joshua P. Cohn was interviewed by Ti Hua Chang on the Channel 9, 10:00 p.m. news on Friday March 21 about the potential impact on ongoing criminal prosecutions arising out of Franklin Township (Somerset County) following the suicide on March 13th of a Franklin Township Detective and the subsequent investigation by the Somerset Prosecutor’s Office that the Detective may have been stealing money from the evidence room.

Barry A. Knopf’s programs on Medical Malpractice and Probate are being aired this month in Bergen and surrounding counties on Cablevision and Fios local channels. These programs are sponsored by the Bergen County Bar Foundation and Fairlawn Creative Cablevision. Cohn Lifland cablevision tapings continued on February 6, with Jeffrey W. Herrmann contributing a segment on Bankruptcy and Jason C. Tuchman with one on Divorce.
 
The New Jersey Lawyer included Julie L. Kim’s photograph and biographical information in its People of the Bar page on January 28. The New Jersey Law Journal similarly featured Julie in its On the Move section on January 21.
 
 Cohn Lifland has been in the forefront of the news.  Leonard Z. Kaufmann was interviewed on Channel 4 on January 16 about the Celebration Studios case and by Walt Kane of I Team, Channel 12 on January 17. WCBS radio also called Leonard Z. Kaufmann for information and an on-air quote on January 16. Jeffrey W. Herrmann was interviewed by Channel 2 News and quoted in The New York Times on January 22 in an article entitled “Newlyweds Seething After a Photo Studio Fails to Deliver.” In addition, numerous newspapers, including The New York Times, The Star Ledger and the Bergen Record mentioned attorneys from our office in their reporting on the case.
 
Julie L. Kim joined Cohn Lifland as an associate in the Family Law group on January 7, 2008.  Ms. Kim clerked for Hon. Harold C. Hollenbeck, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County, Family Part where she previously served as a judicial intern.  She also volunteered as a legal intern at Cornelian Community Counselors as part of the Seton Hall Law School Pro Bono Program. Ms. Kim is a Seton Hall Law School graduate. She also has an MBA from Boston College, Carroll School of Management and a BA from NYU.
 
Joshua P. Cohn was interviewed on Channel 9 on January 6 at 10 pm regarding claims related to the allegations by Roger Clemens’ personal trainer that Clemens took steroids.
