Cohn Lifland Managing Partner Richard Schnoll serves as a Councilman in Woodcliff Lake. He was recently quoted on northjersey.com in an article entitled “Woodcliff Lake has Long Tried to Leave Pascack Valley District. Now It Has a New Idea.” Schnoll pointed out that an argument can be made that dividing the regional school district could actually lead to more consolidation. He says, “There is the regional district for the high school, so you have five districts that encompass the four towns, and you have five superintendents.” Schnoll recommends a study to consider a regionalized district between Woodcliff Lake and Montvale that incorporates the elementary-level school districts.
