Congratulation to Partner Matthew F. Gately on his 10th anniversary with Cohn Lifland. Matthew has been certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney and has tried cases in state and federal courts, as well as in private arbitration. Matt has served on the litigation team for some of the firm’s largest recent cases including In re K-Dur Antitrust Litigation ($60.2m settlement), In re Lipitor Antitrust Litigation ($93m settlement), In re Effexor XR Antitrust Litigation ($39m settlement against one defendant) and In re Prudential Financial Securities Litigation ($35m settlement). He currently serves as interim liaison counsel in In re Insulin Pricing Litigation, In re Effexor XR Antitrust Litigation and In re Vascepa Antitrust Litigation.

He currently serves as a Trustee of the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey and the Co-Chair of the Bergen County Bar Association’s Federal Practice Committee, is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, and was named a “New Leader of the Bar” by the NJ Law Journal. Matt has moderated several panels on federal practice and will again serve in that role for the Bergen County Bar’s upcoming CLE, "Motion Practice Before the District Court: Tips from the Bench," on November 5.
